Welcome to a memorial concert in honour of Clas Ohlson – an evening filled with music, warmth and hope. At a time when the world needs togetherness more than ever, some of Sweden’s most prominent musicians gather to honour Clas Ohlson’s life’s work and at the same time make a contribution to Ukraine.
The concert offers a magnificent programme with outstanding opera singers: soprano Kerstin Avemo, mezzo-soprano Katarina Karnéus, tenor Markus Peterson and baritone Markus Schwarz. Under the direction of conductor Karl-Magnus Jansson, and with Benedicte Haid at the piano, the audience will experience music at the highest artistic level. The evocative St Nikolai Choir will also be taking part, adding to the emotional depth and sonority of the concert.
The memorial concert is not only a tribute to Clas Ohlson, but also an expression of humanity. All ticket proceeds will go in full to support Ukraine, as an act of solidarity in an ongoing crisis.
