On 27 March, the Dalamästerskapen i Ung Företagsamhet 2025 took place, where the region’s top young entrepreneurs competed for a place in the Swedish Championship. The event brought together ambitious upper secondary school students from all over Dalarna, and the result was an inspiring display of creativity and entrepreneurship.
Among the most prestigious categories of the competition was ‘Product of the Year’, hosted by Clas Ohlson Foundation, which also participated in the jury. The competition was tough, but after careful judging it was clear that this year’s winner was the JA company ‘On the Go’ with its innovative product – a stain-removing pen. The product impressed the jury with its practicality and sustainability, as it can reduce both water and electricity consumption and contribute to more sustainable consumption.
Throughout the day, the young entrepreneurs demonstrated both business acumen and innovative thinking, and the jury had a tough task to choose the winners. ‘It’s fantastic to see the innovative power and commitment of Dalarna’s young entrepreneurs. We really look forward to following their continued journey,’ commented Maria Thulemark from the Clas Ohlson Foundation.
With their victory in the Dala Championships, ‘On the Go’ secures a place in the Swedish Championship in Young Entrepreneurship 2025, where they will have the opportunity to compete against Sweden’s best young entrepreneurs. It remains to be seen how far their clever stain remover can take them, but one thing is certain – the future of young entrepreneurship in Dalarna looks bright!
