Memorial Concert for Clas Ohlson, 2 July 2023

Welcome to this year’s memorial concert for our founder Clas Ohlson. All proceeds are donated in full to benefit the victims from the war in Ukraine.

We are proud to introduce Elisabeth Meyer, soprano, Katarina Karnéus, mezzo soprano, and Markus Pettersson, tenor, together with Mattias Bäck on organ, Bénédicte Haid on piano.

This year we have the Wiener Salon Virtuosen (directly from Vienna) with musicians from the Vienna State Opera, the Wiener Symphoniker, the State Opera Bratislava, and the Stockholm Chamber Choir under the direction of Jakob Grubbström.

The program ranges from Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro, The Merry Widow, The Prisoners’ Choir, the orchestra plays a fiery Czardas, etc. As an additional number, the entire audience sings a tribute to the orchestra’s hometown “Vienna, the city of my dreams”. Welcome!
