As a partner of Ung Företagsamhet (Young Entrepreneurship), the Clas Ohlson Foundation invests in young people’s empowerment and optimism about the future as early as primary school, with a particular focus on Dalarna. Entrepreneurship in schools helps pupils develop creativity, problem-solving skills and initiative. It boosts motivation at school, increases participation and contributes to a more equal supply of skills – and the earlier this happens, the greater the effect.
Young Entrepreneurship is a politically independent, non-profit educational organisation and part of Junior Achievement. Since 1980, over 680,000 secondary school pupils have been educated through UF entrepreneurship, and today the organisation is present in six out of ten primary schools in Sweden, where pupils and teachers have access to teaching materials, training and inspiring meetings.
