The Clas Ohlson Foundation is proud to support the non-profit organisation NyföretagarCentrum Mellersta Dalarna. The association offers free counselling to people who want to start a business in Borlänge, Gagnef, Säter or Leksand municipality.
– ‘A prerequisite for us to be able to carry out our activities, which are completely free of charge for visitors, is that we have partners who support us,’ says Mathias Bergqvist, director of NyföretagarCentrum.
Entrepreneurship is crucial for a vibrant society, and NyföretagarCentrum plays an important role in this work. Every year, the organisation helps start around 120 new businesses, making a significant contribution to social development and job creation. Of its visitors, 50 per cent are women, 30 per cent have a foreign background and a third of visitors are under 30.
In addition to counselling, the association offers a mentoring programme in which start-ups receive guidance for a year from experienced entrepreneurs who generously share their knowledge. Through the NyföretagarCentrum, there are also opportunities to participate in various lectures and courses organised to further strengthen people before they start their business.
