The Clas Ohlson Foundation supports relief efforts following the earthquake in Colombia
Following the powerful earthquake that struck Colombia on 10 August, the Clas Ohlson Foundation has decided to donate to Save the Children’s work to help affected children and families.
The earthquake has affected many people’s daily lives and created significant needs in the most vulnerable areas. Our support enables Save the Children to continue its work to ensure children’s safety, health and education in regions such as Valle del Cauca and Chocó.
Save the Children is on the ground in the areas hardest hit by the earthquake and is working to support children and families in their recovery. Through initiatives that strengthen children’s safety, their access to education and their access to psychosocial support, the organisation is helping to create stability in a difficult situation. The initiative also includes access to clean water, sanitation and healthcare.
As a company, we want to help when communities are struck by disasters. Through this donation, we are supporting both the emergency relief efforts and the ongoing work to help children, families and local communities recover from the earthquake.
