As a partner of Ung Företagsamhet, finalist in the Swedish Gender Equality Prize 2025, the Clas Ohlson Foundation invests in a society where all young people can develop their entrepreneurial skills through innovation and entrepreneurship already in primary school, with a special focus on Dalarna.

Ung Företagsamhet is a politically independent, non-profit educational organisation and is part of the global organisation Ung Företagsamhet. Since 1980, UF has trained over 600,000 upper secondary school students in entrepreneurship through the UF Enterprise programme and is present in half of Sweden’s compulsory schools, where the organisation offers students and teachers learning materials, training and inspiring meetings.

New research shows that UF-entrepreneurship strengthens the entrepreneurial skills of students, regardless of upper secondary school programme, and helps to level the playing field for young people. The study confirms that UF has particularly positive effects for underrepresented groups, including women and students from non-academic homes.

“It is with both pleasure and pride that we contribute to Ung Företagsamhet. Supporting young people in their development and entrepreneurship is completely in line with the vision and commitment that characterized Clas Ohlson himself – a person who always believed in the power of new ideas and future generations” says Dimitri Haid, Chairman of the Clas Ohlson Foundation.
