The Clas Ohlson Foundation supports young people in Kenya by investing in both secondary education and vocational training initiatives run by the organisation Cargo Human Care.
Through this commitment, one girl is sponsored to attend Elazar Girls’ High School in Marsabit County. After nine years at Cargo Human Care’s Wings Academy, she began her senior secondary education this January. The school has recently expanded with new classrooms, a dormitory and a library — an important step for girls’ education in the region.
The Foundation also supports Cargo Human Care’s plans to establish a new Vocational Training Centre in Nairobi. The centre will be built next to the John Kaheni Residence and will offer practical skills training to strengthen young people’s opportunities for employment and self-reliance.
By supporting these initiatives, the Clas Ohlson Foundation contributes to long-term, sustainable change and empowers young people to shape their own futures.
